How to Browse Telegram Emoji and Sticker Categories: Emotion Clustering, Hold-to-Zoom Previews & Reaction Discovery
The emoji and sticker panel has a row of category icons along its edge. Tapping one jumps straight to that section, and holding the row lets you slide through all of them without lifting your finger.
It is a navigation control most people never notice, and it is the difference between the panel being usable and being a long scroll.
What you will be able to do
- check_circle Jump to a category instead of scrolling to it.
- check_circle Reorder your sticker packs so the row means something.
- check_circle Move between emoji, stickers and GIFs quickly.
- check_circle Keep the panel short enough to navigate at all.
The row of icons is a jump control, not decoration; sliding along it moves through the whole panel.
dashboard The row is an index
Emoji are grouped into the standard categories — faces, people, nature, food, objects and the rest — and each has an icon in the row. Tapping goes there; holding and sliding scrubs through them, which is far quicker than scrolling a grid of several thousand.
In the sticker section the same row is your installed packs, in the order you put them. That order is a setting, and it is the one thing that decides whether the panel is navigable: the two packs you use should be first, not wherever they happened to land.
The tabs across the bottom move between emoji, stickers and GIFs. Together with the search box, that is the whole of the panel's navigation, and knowing all three makes finding anything a two-second job.

The last one matters more than the other three together.

This page navigates what you have installed. The curriculum step is where it comes from: making packs, tagging them so they surface, and what a community's own set does for how it talks.
