Send a complaint to dmca@telegram.org. This applies to Telegram's public platform: channels, public groups, bots and sticker sets. Private chats and private groups are private between their participants, and requests about them are not processed.

The line that decides whether a complaint can be acted on

Can be reportedCannot be reported
Public channelsPrivate one-to-one chats
Public groupsPrivate groups
Bots
Sticker sets

This is a matter of principle rather than capability. A private conversation between two people is not a publication, and treating it as one would mean inspecting private correspondence on request.

What to include

  1. The exact t.me link to the infringing channel, bot, sticker set or post.
  2. A description of the work you own and how it is being used.
  3. Evidence that you hold the rights, such as the original publication or a registration.
  4. Your contact details and a statement made in good faith.

A complaint with a precise link and clear proof of ownership is resolved far faster than one describing the problem in general terms.

If it is impersonation rather than copyright

Copyright and impersonation go to different places. An account pretending to be you or your brand should be reported to @NoToScam, and can also be reported from inside the app through the profile menu.

Sticker sets built from characters somebody else owns are the most common copyright case on the platform. If you are publishing packs, use artwork you have the rights to; that is also the most frequent reason a set is removed.
