How to Use Telegram Business Quick Replies: Slash Commands, Reusable Templates & One-Tap Dispatch
A quick reply is a message you saved with a short name. Type the name in the message box and the whole thing appears — text, files, pictures, whatever you stored under it.
It is the least glamorous business feature and the one that changes the most hours of your week.
What you will be able to do
- check_circle Save an answer behind a short shortcut.
- check_circle Include files and pictures in one.
- check_circle Choose which answers are worth saving.
- check_circle Use them without sounding like a form letter.
The shortcut is typed into the message box and expands into the saved reply.
bolt The answers you have already written
Every small business has five or six answers it types every week: what it costs, how long it takes, where to find us, what we need from you, how to pay. Each has been written dozens of times, slightly differently and slightly worse each time.
Saving them does two things. It gives back the minutes, which is the obvious part, and it makes the answer the good version every time — the one you wrote carefully once rather than the tired one you type at half past six.
The part that makes it more than a text snippet is that a quick reply can hold several messages and attachments together. "Everything a new client needs" becomes one shortcut instead of four minutes of finding files.
Four decisions
The last one is what keeps customers from noticing.
checklist The ones you actually repeat
label Short and obvious
attach_file More than text
record_voice_over Sounding like a person
Save the answer, then change one line. Five good shortcuts beat twenty you have to search.
settings Setting them up
- Look through a week of sent messages For what you repeat.
- Open quick replies in the business settings And add the first five.
- Write each one properly, once This is the version customers now get.
- Attach the files that go with it Price list, form, directions.
- Name each with one obvious word Distinct at the first letters.
- Edit before sending One personal line, every time.
This page stores the answers customers get. The curriculum step is the same discipline for yourself: keeping material where you can find it, tagging what you will need again, and building an archive that saves time rather than collecting dust.
