Between choosing a forward and sending it there is a step most people tap straight past. The bar above the message box is a button: open it and you can drop the sender's name, drop the captions, remove individual messages from the batch, or change where it is all going.
Forwarding is the fastest way to move information in Telegram and the easiest way to pass on something that was not yours to pass on. This screen is where that decision is made.
What you will be able to do

forward Attribution is a choice, in both directions
By default a forwarded message says where it came from and links back to the author. That is usually right — it is how a claim keeps its source and how a reader can check it.
Hiding the sender is right when the attribution is the sensitive part: passing a colleague's message to somebody who should see the content but not the name, or sharing something from a private group where naming the member would be a breach. What arrives then looks like a message from you, which is a responsibility rather than a trick.
Captions are separate. A photograph forwarded with its original caption carries somebody else's words with it; stripping them leaves the picture and lets you write your own sentence about it.
Four forwards and what each one needs
Two switches, and the default is correct in half of these.

Ask what you are really passing on: the content, or the person who said it. The switch decides.

- Select the messages and choose forward Then pick the destination as usual.
- Tap the forward bar above the message box This is the step that reveals everything below.
- Decide on the sender name Keep it for anything factual; hide it to protect somebody.
- Decide on captions Independently of the name.
- Remove anything you did not mean to include And change the destination if needed.
- Set your own forwarding privacy once In privacy and security, so other people's forwards cannot link to you.
