The short answer
- 1Article in the attachment menu sends a long piece with headings, tables and photos as one message.
- 2Build the title and subheadings first, and use the AI editor last.
- 3Do not send private text through AI, and check the piece on a phone before sending.

One piece of writing, not a message
Article in the attachment menu opens an editor for long writing. You edit headings, subheadings, lists, quotes, tables and photos between paragraphs exactly as they will look, and send the finished piece as a single message. People reading it need no subscription; it opens inside the app as written. An AI button under the editor can call the AI editor to polish sentences.

Whether long writing belongs in a chat at all, and what suits the article format, is covered in using the rich text editor; editing and shortening with AI is in the AI text editor. This page is about writing one piece from start to finish and checking it before you send.
Writing an article in order
| Step | Why |
|---|---|
| Write the title first | The title is what shows in the chat list and notifications. Say what the piece is about there |
| Set up subheadings before the body | Three or four subheadings decide where the piece is going before you write paragraphs |
| Keep paragraphs short | On a phone, a long paragraph becomes a wall. One idea per paragraph |
| Comparisons in a table, steps in a numbered list | Shape shortens what prose would stretch out |
| Photos and files next to the paragraph they explain | Piled at the end, they make readers scroll up and down. Documents, files and music can sit between paragraphs too |
| AI editing last | Polish sentences once the structure and content stand; handing over the start makes it someone else's piece |

Checking an article before sending
- Open the attachment (paperclip) menu in the message field and choose Article.
- Look at it on a phone screen. A table written on a computer may need sideways scrolling on a phone; cut columns if there are many.
- Tap every link. Fixing a link after sending does not reach people who already read it.
- In a channel, schedule it. A long piece gets read when it arrives at a time people have time.
FAQ
Do readers need Telegram Premium to read an article?
No. Anyone can read it in the app; the editor itself is a Premium feature according to the official blog.
Where is the Telegram article editor?
In the attachment (paperclip) menu of the message field, under Article.
Is text in the AI editor private?
It is sent to a service for processing, so do not use it on confidential text.
