Privacy Policy

How TGWAY handles your data: no accounts, nothing personal from browsing, what we keep when you email us, and Google Analytics and AdSense cookies.

TGWAY (tgway.com, "we", "us") is an independent guide to Telegram. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to help@tgway.com.

1. What we collect

TGWAY has no accounts and no sign-up. Browsing the site does not give us your name, email address or phone number.

  • When you email us: we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to act on your request.
  • When you message our Telegram bot (@tgway_directory_bot, used for channel reports, removal requests, suggestions and questions): we receive the text you send. We do not receive your phone number, and we store your Telegram account ID only as a one-way code, so we can tell repeat messages apart without knowing who you are. If you include an email address so we can answer, we use it only for that reply.
  • Server logs: like any website, our server records technical details of each request — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use these to keep the site running and to block abuse, and they are rotated automatically.
  • Visit statistics: we count page views to see which guides are useful. These counts are stored on our own server and are not used to identify you.

2. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.

  • What it collects: Google Analytics uses cookies to record pages viewed, time on page, how you arrived, device and browser type and approximate region. We do not send names, email addresses or phone numbers to Google Analytics.
  • IP addresses: according to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. See Google's data protection information.
  • Opting out: block cookies in your browser, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

TGWAY may show ads served by Google AdSense to keep the guides free.

4. Share buttons and outside links

  • Share buttons open each service's own share screen in a new window; what happens there follows that service's policy. "Copy link" and your phone's share sheet work only on your device. When you press a share button we record which method you used and for which page in Google Analytics, without personal details.
  • Links to Telegram (t.me, tg://) and to channels, bots and Mini Apps open services we do not run. Telegram's own policy is at telegram.org/privacy.

5. How long we keep it, and who sees it

Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Questions sent to our Telegram bot, including any email address in them, are deleted 90 days after we receive them; channel reports and suggestions are kept as a short record of what we listed or removed and why. Server logs are deleted on a rolling basis. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone, apart from the Google services described above.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the EU and UK GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA — you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email help@tgway.com with the subject "Privacy request". We answer within 30 days.

7. Children

TGWAY is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

8. Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
