When a group has a scheduled voice chat, the countdown at the top of the chat is a button. Tap it and Telegram will tell you when the room actually opens.
The word actually is doing the work. A reminder you set here is attached to the event, not to a time, so it still fires correctly when the host moves the session or starts it twenty minutes early.

A calendar alarm knows a time. If the organiser moves the session, the alarm does not know, and you arrive at an empty room or miss the thing entirely. That failure is so familiar that most people have stopped trusting event reminders at all.
Telegram's version is a subscription to the event itself. The signal that reaches you is sent when the room opens, whenever that is. Move the session, start it early, delay it an hour — the reminder is still right, because it was never a timer.
It is also on your account rather than on a device, so setting it on a phone and being at a desk when it fires works the way you would want.

- Tap the bell to subscribe The confirmation is the only feedback; nothing is posted to the group.
- Leave the group muted if it is noisy The reminder comes through regardless.
