Open Telegram Settings > My Profile (or Edit Profile). Tap on the Date of Birth entry row.

Use the native calendar wheel to select your birthday. You can toggle off Show Year if you prefer to celebrate without disclosing your exact birth year.

Does Telegram notify contacts about my birthday if we are in different timezones?
Banners are coordinated based on the recipient's local device clock. When it becomes your birthday in their timezone, the banner displays, ensuring notifications never trigger in the middle of their night.
