Reactions that read like a sentence
A free account reacts to a message with one of the default reactions. With Telegram Premium you choose from every emoji and custom emoji, and you can add multiple reactions, up to three, to a single message. That lets you say more than a thumbs-up without sending a new message. The basics are in message reactions, and reacting with custom emoji is covered in custom emoji reactions.

Reactions added by a Premium user are visible to everyone in the chat, and free members can tap them too. Seeing them needs no subscription.

Adding several reactions
- Open the reaction bar on a message: tap it on Android (a long-press selects it instead), long-press on iOS, right-click on a computer.
- Expand the bar with the button at its right end to open the full emoji drawer.
- Pick an emoji. It attaches under the message.
- Repeat for a second or third reaction.
- Tap your own reaction again to remove it. You can change it any time.
