What faster downloads actually remove
Telegram Premium removes the speed limit on downloads. A free account can download anything; with Premium it arrives as fast as your connection allows. Where you notice it is clear: large files. If you mostly receive photos and short messages you will barely see a difference; if you often get long videos, large archives or files shared in channels, you will see it every day.

- Download large files on Wi-Fi. They use data as fast as they arrive. On a phone, set automatic downloads separately for Wi-Fi and mobile data in Data and Storage; see reading your data usage.
- Use the download list. Open search in the chat list and switch to the downloads tab to pause or resume files in progress; see the download manager.
- Start videos before they finish. Common formats play while they are still downloading.
- On a computer, set a download path, so large files land somewhere you can find them.
